How we Started

Donna Taylor, a dedicated nurse and healthcare professional, has spent nearly four decades in the nursing field, making a significant impact on the lives of countless patients. Her journey began in 1983, and throughout her career, she has worked in various healthcare settings, including home health, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Donna's unwavering passion for the elderly ultimately led her to establish Ridgeview Assisted Living in 2005. In 2020, she retired, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of service and compassion.

Early Career and Home Health:

Donna Taylor started her nursing career in 1983, in home health care. This experience allowed her to provide personalized care to patients in the comfort of their own home. She developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by homebound individuals, helping her grow as a healthcare professional.

Falls Memorial Hospital:

In 1987, Donna joined Falls Memorial Hospital, where she spent three decades serving patients and contributing to the hospital's mission. Even as she took on various travel nursing assignments throughout the United States, she remained committed to Falls Memorial, returning every 30 days to continue her work there. Donna's dedication to her patients and colleagues was evident, and she eventually retired from the hospital in 2017.

Travel Nursing:

Donna's adventurous spirit led her to explore travel nursing opportunities across the United States. These assignments allowed her to broaden her skill set, learn from diverse healthcare settings, and make a positive impact on patients in different regions of the country. Despite her travels, she never lost touch with her roots at Falls Memorial Hospital.

Ridgeview Assisted Living:

In 2005, driven by her passion for the elderly, Donna decided to open Ridgeview Assisted Living. This facility allowed her to combine her nursing expertise with her desire to provide compassionate care to seniors in need of assistance. For 15 years, she managed Ridgeview, ensuring that residents received the highest quality of care in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Retirement and Legacy:

In 2020, after a long and fulfilling career in nursing, Donna Taylor retired. Her lifelong commitment to caring for others, especially the elderly, has left an indelible mark on the healthcare community. Donna's work has inspired others to follow in her footsteps, creating a lasting legacy of service, empathy, and excellence in elder care.
